Subsidiary Rules for Student Self-Governed Groups and Students Associations Activities of National Taiwan University

In order to encourage student self-governed groups and students associations (herein after called students associations) vigorously hold activities, promote the development and inherit the association organization, National Taiwan University (herein after called NTU) stipulates this rule in accordance with No. 2, Article 6 of Consultation Standard of Student Self-Governed Groups and Students Associations of National Taiwan University.
The subsidiary matters are executed by Student Activity Division (herein after called SAD). The precedence subsidiary content including application, principal, and amount should be stated in the implementation rules of this Rule.
The Students Associations may apply for subsidiary for the following activities:
1. Group leader training or camps.
2. Academic activity: speeches, major academic seminars, exhibitions, study programs, study
groups and so on.
3. Publications: newspapers, magazines, and etc.
4. Maintenance or procurement of club properties.
5. Recreational activities: in-school concerts, outside school tour performance, tours, performing
abroad, participating in or host inter-school contests.
6. Social service activities: including general service during school terms and the social service
teams in summer or winter vacation.
7. Other activities in comply with the purpose of the clubs.
The reunions, visit, tour, or entertainment activities are not subsidized.
The students associations should file for the subsidiary before the activity date; any application filed after the activity date is not subsidized.
The students associations should acquire the consent of the directing teachers prior the subsidiary application.
The students associations being subsidized should submit a report to SAD for claiming the funds.
In the case of any activity cancellation after the activity subsidiary is granted, the students associations should submit written report to SAD no later than one week after the scheduled activity date.
If the students association violates the precedence rule, SAD should take this into consideration for the subsidiary evaluation of the next term.
The implementation rules of this rule are separately stated.
This rule shall come to effect upon approved by Student Consult Committee; amendment is the same.
